Perfection in a global icon. Food, drink, staff .... all aligned in a way that rarely happens. The food is worthy of the Opera House location - we had the 3 course menu in the restaurant, absolutely stunning food presented in a simple and yet beautiful way. Well educated staff on the wine and all of the service personnel were friendly, helpful and just a pleasure to interact with. We had high expectations and the Bennelong exceeded them. A wonderful experience in our iconic Opera House.

Fantastic experience at Bennelong, we went to eat and get drinks following our afternoon show and they were able to accommodate us as a walk in at the bar area. The ambience was lovely, amazing views and the drinks and food were excellent. Service was also excellent, our server was attentive and answered all our questions. We tried the oysters, cavier and cheeses- all excellent. Wish we were able to try the tasting menu but will have to plan for when we are back in Sydney again!

We had the privilege of Table 1 on our first ever visit to Sydney and the Opera House. Thank you, from the warm welcome to the finishing dessert wine, never mind the stunningly set Madama Butterfly. An experience we will treasure 🙏.

Wow! What a spectacular way to spend my last evening in Sydney! On holiday solo, I tried to make a reservation for one on the website and didn’t see any availability for the bar. I emailed my request and Julia was quick to respond, confirming they would be able to accommodate me. As if getting to step inside the iconic Sydney Opera House wasn’t enough to thoroughly delight me, I arrive to find that I’m not seated at the bar. Julia has arranged a table for me, perched in the center of the upper bar area - by far the best seat in the house! The ambiance here is truly enchanting, especially as the city and bridge lights begin to sparkle. The service, like everything else here, is top notch! I appreciated the wine recommendation and tasting notes on their very generous bar menu. I was very pleased with the Sydney rock oysters and duck confit pie. Beyond that, prices were more than reasonable. I can’t thank Julia and all the staff at Bennelong enough for such a magical evening that’ll I’ll remember forever!

11th October 2025. We celebrated our wedding anniversary here and what a lovely absolute treat! Loved every moment and mouthful and you must try it at least once. We had a 6.15pm booking but we arrived earlier than we anticipated and were seated upon arrival about 25mins early. There is a small bar you could sit if needed though. While seated, we were initially offered the smaller menu as our waitress thought that's what we booked, but after we explained we were early she returned to confirm we were there for the full menu. Between us we had the 3 course menu and 6 cocktails which valued @ $600-650, but again it was well worth it for the occasion and the experience. The food was delicious! The staff were fantastic! The ambience and views, stunning! We had pea/asparagus and pork belly entree. Brisket and beef with 2x sides as part of the meal for mains. Mango and pav for dessert. Complimentary warm sourdough served before entree. Nothing more I can add, except that you need to give it a go if you haven't already.

Most amazing culinary experience. I can’t fault anything about food service or atmosphere. It’s is pricey so be prepared to spend $$$ but The experience will be well worth it. Perfect for special occasions. Sweeping views of the Sydney Harbour great service and the most delicious food.

World-Class Views, Exceptional Hospitality, Excellent Food - Worth Every Cent! Still our favourite harbour-side restaurant in Sydney! The Opera House setting is always a showstopper for international guests, but it’s the food and service that make Bennelong truly special. The mains were excellent and lived up to the expectation of a two-hatted restaurant, but the real stars were the snacks, entrée and deserts. The Wagyu bresaola was outstanding, and the XO king prawn congee was inspired - beautifully balanced and full of flavour. The seasonal mango desert was so good, it even outshone the iconic pavlova! A delightful discovery was the availability of a great 2-courses kid's menu. Our six-year-old grandson loved it and finished his plate faster than any one of us. Big shoutout to Jerrod and the rest of the team who looked after us throughout the lunch. Their warm, attentive hospitality keeps us coming back again and again. That's hospitality done right. Bennelong never disappoints!

A beautiful dinner experience that was fitting to the wonderful ambience the Sydney Opera House provides. The acoustics are beautiful and you never feel you are talking over the top of someone. The food was incredible with lots of thought and love placed into the preparation and execution. While the marron and swimmer crab dumpling accentuated the Australian seafood produce, it was the handmade noodles that were the unlikely standout for entree (springy, flavoursome and complemented well with the pork belly) The steak was the highlight for main. Sliced through like butter with a chocolate sauce that deceptively works so well to exemplify the flavours of such beautiful wagyu beef. The duck and cod fillet were equally subtle in their flavours but lacking sauce. The highlight for dessert was the pavlova and berry berry. A delightful end to a beautiful 3 course meal. Also forgot to mention that the potatoes were by far one of the best sides I have ever had. Bucket list ticked off

Having a show in the concert hall after our meal they ensured the dinner service timing was perfect to get us there with a few minutes to spare. The 3 courses were executed perfectly. Started off with the berry pie mixed drink which truely tasted like a berry pie. Each course was fairly substantial because it was only a 3 course whoch was nice. I've never had cod with crispy skin like that before, i thought i was eating pork belly crackling and the sauce was perfect. The potatoes were crispy, salty and creamy on the inside. The fat on the pork chop was full of flavor and melted in my mouth. Then finally the berry berry berry dessert was like nothing i had ever eaten. The cream was so rich and the little crystals on the raspberries were a delight to eat. If you can afford it the meal is worth it just know you're paying for quality. One nice aspect is they aren't jumping on the trend of having "chef recommended" add ons. I hate that new trend in fine dining because it boosts the cost by creating fomo and i respect Bennelong for not partaking in that.

I really loved the food. It was good and well presented. The oysters were so good and the ravioli too. I can also recommend the Mocktail Vanilla and Passionfruit! But I have to tell, the best part was the service! Ana Clara has been wonderful and she makes my birthday night even more exceptionnel thanks to her five stars service!! It was a perfect night thank you 💗💗
